Q. Are your stories true?
A. Yes, they're all true.
Q. What do you draw with? Are your drawings digital?
A. I used to draw everything by hand, using Copic Multiliners on bristol board. Now I use a Wacom Cintiq tablet.
Q. I also have a blog. How do I get more readers?
A. I get asked this all the time and I'm afraid there's no real answer, at least not one I'm aware of. I say produce work you're proud of and hope for the best, but don't expect it. I know plenty of talented bloggers who never gained a substantial readership. I started my blog because I was bored, not because I had some endgame in mind. Everything that followed was a happy surprise.
Q. How long have you been doing this?
A. Since around August 2010.
Q. What do you actually look like?
A. Like this:
Q. I have a funny story that I think you should draw.
A. I love hearing stories from readers, so feel free to tell me all about it. I will not make it into a comic, though, as I have my hands full with my own stories and with freelance illustration work, but I still get a kick out of hearing them.
Q. How long does each comic take?
A. It depends, but usually a week or so.
Q. Well then why don't you update more?
A. I do a lot of freelance illustration work, and I'm also working on a book which will be published by Grand Central in 2013.
Q. Are you single?
A. Everyone is single on the internet.
